This is where ‘style’ or ‘clone’ devices come in handy. They are a cheaper version of premium products to see if it suits your style before purchasing the authentic. This sort of thing happens in a lot of industries, eg: an Onyx Les Paul guitar is nothing like a Gibson. Style devices do not have the same level of build quality as authentic devices so they should not be considered as ‘the same thing, just cheaper’. However, they are good way to test a product before purchasing the authentic.
